Omni-channel customers spend 3.5 times more than other shoppers, while 84% of customers believe that retailers should be doing more to integrate their online and offline channels.

And there is a growing realization that the branch network must be better integrated into the IT estate, so that it can be better used to optimize the customer journey and leverage brand equity.

Investment is required to achieve this, but, given the margin pressures of the sector, it must be achieved in a cost effective manner.

Fortunately, new developments in cloud managed hybrid IT make this integration and development possible with a level of cost efficiency that opens up new opportunities for CIO’s to exploit.

In this Zynstra Whitepaper, entitled “Retail branch IT as a strategic asset”we look at the complexities retail businesses are facing in managing a consistent, reliable and cost effective IT network across branches, and how Cloud Managed Servers can alleviate many of these issues.
