Our experience working with retailers across the US and UK, has shown that they are challenged to deliver a better user experience, whilst reducing the operational costs of remotely managing a highly-distributed branch IT environment. To investigate further, Zynstra commissioned research conducted on our behalf by survey consultant Censuswide, polling IT managers and C-level professionals in the retail space across the UK and US.
The research reinforced our experience. 97% of respondents see IT as a strategic asset in branch retailing, but only 48% said they had the proper resources, support and branch infrastructure to meet their current demands.
